[ Books & Authors ] Open Question : What are some good morals/themes to have in a story?
I would really like to base a story around a moral/theme for once, instead of my story being shallow... ^_^
For example I read a story and it was basically about dreams. The theme of that story was that once you have a dream, chase after it as hard as you can and that there's no such thing as a foolish/fake dream. Another example is a story I read about a girl who had cancer and was dying. The theme of that story was that to live your life to the fullest while you still can.
Do you understand my gist?
Those stories are so inspirational to me (especially the dream one), and I would like to write an inspirational story to some people as well. <3
