I have decided that I am going to build a new computer. I am completely new to this subject, but I do know what I need to know about building, and also I have a haynes book on this aswell.
HOWEVER I have drawn up a list of components that I like the look of, and I think they will all be comptible with each other but I just want to ask for you opinions on if they are good choices and if thy will actually work well together;
The list is as follows:
-XIGMATEK midgard pc tower case
-Asus M4A87TD Evo motherboard
-AMD Phenom II X4 955 CPU
-Sapphire radeon HD 5770 PCI-E graphics card
-Seagate barracuda internal 3.5" SATA Hard Drive - 1TB, 7200rpm
-Seagate barracuda internal 3.5" SATA Hard Drive - 250GB, 7200rpm (as OS drive)
-Integral PC3-10600 DDR3-1333 DIMM RAM memory module - 4GB [x3]
-LG GH20N515 20x internal SATA DVD re-writer drive
-Asus Xanar DG 5.1 channel PCI Sound Card
-Mac OS X Snow Leopard
-Corsair Gaming Series GS800 High Performance 800W power supply unit
