zero upload speed on mac?

I have and imac and i have been trying to seed torrents for about a week at first i had very slow upload speed at about 100 K/b's sec. now its completely stopped uploading. i've been to speedtest.net and my upload speed comes up as 1mb. MAC OSX 10.6. Linksys E2000 router. Thanks to anybody who can help
